Security Officer Patrol Unit

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and assisting with security-related requests and/or post orders as assigned.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications
