What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and/or exit activity in accordance with site procedures, including screening visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries as directed.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
