About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Threat Detection in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal's caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe the location for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns; report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in required reports and logs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour. Position Type: Full Time. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.
