As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Threat Detection in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including government facilities. This part‑time position offers schedule flexibility through the Claim a Shift platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you while contributing to a welcoming environment through visible patrols, customer service, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Coordinate with site representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed to communicate incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 21 years for armed roles.
• Successful completion of a background investigation per federal, state, and local law.
• Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license if the position requires driving.

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time schedule: Wednesday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM and Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (flexible shift claiming available via the Claim a Shift platform).
