Security Officer Patrol Team

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Team member in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will work as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production support areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Complete routine reports and pass down relevant activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives, helping to maintain awareness of security-related concerns across the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
