Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
