Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Support Desk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site awareness through strong communication and customer service.

- Day: Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and support a professional atmosphere throughout the location.
- Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol findings, and/or notable activity according to Allied Universal guidelines and location procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
