Security Officer Patrol Steward

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Steward in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a luxury retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related details as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, stockroom corridors, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, loitering, and/or potential loss prevention concerns to site contacts and local authorities when appropriate.
• Support a professional shopping environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or helping to address security-related concerns from staff, visitors, and vendors.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
