Security Officer Patrol Specialist
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Nokomis, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and community activity, communicate with residents and/or property staff regarding security-related concerns, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in required reports.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- May be required to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
