What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support receiving, shipping, and general facility operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic zones for security-related concerns and reporting issues in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
