Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and associates while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor high-traffic and merchandise areas to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents, policy violations, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
