About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying designated personnel and documenting observed activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas in support of access control requirements and established location protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
