Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that could help to deter disruptions or property loss.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with attention to unauthorized access and operational concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs as required, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding deliveries, contractor activity, and other routine security-related matters.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns in a timely manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
