Security Officer - Patrol Responder

As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
- Monitor entry points and high-traffic areas to help confirm authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Assist with assigned post duties related to financial institution operations, including maintaining a visible presence, following client-specific procedures, and supporting a professional environment.
Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
