Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support a welcoming environment within the healthcare location.
• Observe and document unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
