What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity involving visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles, verify credentials when required, and support site rules related to receiving, shipping, and facility access control.
Minimum Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
