Security Officer Patrol Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks in support of location policies for a professional technology-focused workplace.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and routine site activity.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
