Security Officer Patrol Monitor

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and document daily events, observations, and incident details in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with traffic and/or pedestrian flow during busy periods, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
