Security Officer Patrol Monitor

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for policy compliance, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and/or reporting of maintenance or security-related issues.
• Support emergency and incident response efforts by following post orders, communicating with first responders and/or designated personnel, and helping with orderly movement of people during urgent situations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications
