Security Officer Patrol Mixed Shifts

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
