Security Officer Patrol Guard

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouses, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, following post orders, and supporting orderly site access.
• Assist with incident reporting, foot and/or vehicle patrol activity, and communication with site leadership regarding security-related issues, damaged property, and/or operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
