About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Financial Institutions, you will be part of a team contributing to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain access control and badge experience, if available, to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contact.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal standards for an unarmed patrol post.

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Patrol and monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
