Security Officer Patrol Driver Weekends Overnights

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access requirements, and support traffic flow for deliveries and employee movement at the location.
• Assist with incident reporting, badge and key control, and communication with personnel during operational disruptions, equipment issues, and/or emergency situations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
