Security Officer Patrol Driver Scout

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while assisting with security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, documenting incidents, and assisting with access control and crowd management during busy periods.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
