What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other sensitive locations to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and report unusual behavior and/or policy concerns.
• Assist with security-related requests from site leadership and staff, provide directions and general assistance to visitors, and support a professional environment during routine operations and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
