As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Care in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other site documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.50 per hour.

Part-time. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
