Security Officer Patrol Driver Concierge

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate site representatives.
  • Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and following post instructions related to restricted areas and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)
  • TSA Issued TWIC
