About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location in Columbus, OH as an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver Compliance. In this part-time role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, remain visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations across the site through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a large-scale technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support authorized entry procedures for employees, visitors, and/or vendors while following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Observe critical infrastructure areas for irregular conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, and/or environmental issues, and report findings for follow-up.

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
