Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Fort Smith, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving post includes routine mobile patrols and supports day-to-day operations with agility, reliability, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor for unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to help support loss prevention efforts and help to deter unwanted activity on site.
• Assist with de-escalation, provide directions and information, and support a professional environment for customers and staff during routine operations and/or high-traffic periods.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
