Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in San Marcos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and observe authorized entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

• Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime, Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
