Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal® is North America's leading security and facility services company. As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This is a Part-Time position where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations in clear written reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 01:00 AM - 08:00 AM
