Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior through a visible presence.
• Document patrol activity and incidents through clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
