Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic education location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, helping to monitor campus areas through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus stakeholders and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a welcoming learning environment by documenting incidents, providing directions and assistance, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
