What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity through proper channels.
- Support site operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while following post orders and security-related procedures for an unarmed patrol assignment.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
