Security Officer Patrol Badge Authentication

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to provide security services at a technology‑focused office location in Seattle, WA. The role involves routine patrols, visible presence, access point monitoring, and customer service for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least two years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Minimum age of 18 years for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$28.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
