Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and assist with visitor processing and/or vehicle traffic control in accordance with site requirements.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, observing equipment and facility conditions, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
