Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence, following assigned post orders, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local personnel regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
