Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time, unarmed role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and maintain required visitor, contractor, and vehicle documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
