Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers to support a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location in New London, NC. In this highly visible, part-time role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.50 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
