Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols for a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Support security-related operations by observing facility activity, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders related to shipping, receiving, and restricted areas.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
