Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and support visitor and/or delivery processing in accordance with location policies for a technology-focused environment.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, and assist with follow-up communication during alarms, evacuations, and other site incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
