Security Officer Patrol Associate

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter access points to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle activity to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site policies for deliveries and shipments.
• Assist with reporting hazards, operational disruptions, and/or policy violations to help support an orderly environment for personnel, inventory, and facility operations.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
