About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, GA. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Provide exceptional customer service while documenting observations and responding to concerns with integrity. Be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures and applicable reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
