Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify potential concerns and report issues to the appropriate contact.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity in support of site rules, visitor management practices, and after-hours protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters, facility concerns, and changing conditions during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
