Security Officer Patrol Access Coordinator
Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordinator in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access monitoring, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and other property-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, lobbies, and/or loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and report unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal standards along with client-specific security-related policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
