Security Officer Patrol Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to verify authorization, direct traffic flow, and report discrepancies involving badges, shipments, or restricted areas.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing facility activity, communicating with site personnel, and completing detailed incident, patrol, and/or shift reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
