As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting site protocols and reporting concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, chemical-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuation support, incident notification, and communication with site personnel and responding agencies.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts available
