Part Time Weekend Security Officer

About the role

Securitas Security Services is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a high-traffic retail property in Peabody, MA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and security
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and staff
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Cookordination with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
