Responsibilities

• Verify credentials and control facility access
• Monitor entrances and exits, and ensure authorized personnel and vehicles enter the site
• Report suspicious activities and maintain written logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner
• Communicate emergency notifications as necessary

Qualifications

• Military, law enforcement, or corrections experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Attention to detail
