The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position provides flexible, dependable hours for individuals looking to supplement income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Part Time Warehouse Patrol in Belcamp, MD, you will have a reliable, consistent schedule at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): you will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: in addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours one week and full‑time the next, scaling back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, warehouses, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the facility and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
